Folks,
I've got a trio of UMD's to get rid o... give away! These are factory sealed and brand new releases from Manga Entertainment; X, Perfect Blue and Dead Leaves. Since I use my PSP to game and not watch movies, I need to get my office a bit cleaner and you get to help! The entire trio will go to one lucky winner. What do you need to do? Tell us why in the most convincing manner that we need to cover UMD releases. The one who convinces us the best gets our UMDs! So, get to it! Contest ends Saturday morning when I pack 'em up and look for a winner to ship it to. Please note: convincing us does not mean we'll be covering UMD releases.

You should cover UMD releases because....
They're to small to be coasters

Uh......... Because some people are actually crazy enough to get a PSP for UMDs instead of getting a portable DVD player, iPod with video, or a laptop?
I don't actually want a PSP. But these would make nice gifts/things to sell on eBay.

You should cover UMD releases as all you have to do is copy the DVD review, add a sentence about how hard it was to read the subtitles and remove anything about extras that weren't included.

I think you should cover UMD releases just like DVD releases.
Even if content is the same for the actual episode, the extras won't be there probably and in some cases, it could be an important loss. Any technical issues should be pointed at. The audio and video re-encoding could be good or not so good. Anything, good or bad, arising from the conversion/encoding would be essential to know for readers who wonder which format to buy their anime in. Also, the size of the screen may cause some issues such as readability of subtitles, high enough level of detail, good enough color contrast on the PSP screen especially in black levels, etc). Basically, the point of the separate reviews would be to give an idea of the anime experience when watched on a PSP. Since it's not gonna be always a direct translation of what you experience watching the DVD on TV, it should have its separate review.
