Default AYA vol. 1 Ishida video question

I want to know, why is the Ishida Youko "Towa no Hana" (Flower of Eternity) music video on the Ai Yori Aoshi vol. 1 DVD TV sized? I can't imagine that's the way it was made, was it? If that's a cut version, where can I find the full version? It would be nice if it were on the upcoming Ishida Tour DVD

Its the OST for the show so naturally it would be TV size. If you want the full version just pick up the Sweets CD.

Edit: Crap! I guess I can't read. I didn't see the word "Video". I assumed you were talking about the song itself. But what is this doing in R1 anyway? As far as I know that DVD you mentioned hasn't been released here.

I don't have a direct answer, but if you're asking about aspect ratio, the "Making of Open Your Mind" video that comes on miniDVD with the "All of Me" album shows them filming in 16:9 video, so it's possible a similar version of "Towa no Hana" is available somewhere. The 14-minute documentary is actually quite interesting since it was filmed in a forest setting and shows how they laid tracks for camera movement and provided facilities for cast and crew in an outdoor location. Oh, and the completed "Open Your Mind" music video is included in 16:9.

Because the video is on the AYA volume 1 disc that was released in R1. That's why.

As for the initial question, I'm not aware of a video using the full version of the song. At least not that I've come across.

perigee, I'm talking about having the full version of the music video, not about if it will fill up the screen or not. On a side note, I do have that mini DVD and recently watched it. I quite enjoyed it. ^^ Thanks for the recommendation anyway though.

I just got the Yoko Ishida Live in Concert SE. There are four music videos on The Moves 101 [not the regular edition]. They include Eternal Flower (1:44), Open Your Mind (4:34), Passionate Goddess (2:00) and Proof of Life (2:52).

I'm not sure if there's an alternate version of Eternal Flower, but the location for this one is an all-white studio apartment and footage shot from a harbor ferry. Open Your Mind is identical to the miniDVD release. Passionate Goddess uses a mix of interior apartment scenes and deserted streets for background. Proof of Life shows nighttime aerial/rooftop shots from some Japanese city.
