Default AoD Review: Millennium Actress R4

[ QUOTE ]
In Summary
Not only is this great anime this is great film making. While some may complain that there is no real conclusion to the story it’s the journey the film takes us on that is the point. This is a wonderfully warm film with great heart and a genuine love of cinema. Anyone worth their salt as an anime fan needs to have this in their collection; in fact any fan of film in general should pick this up right away you will not be disappointed.

Nice review, this is one of my favourite films as well (I have loved all Satoshi Kon's works so far).

I was a little disappointed you didn't comment a bit more on the dub though, since it's great that the UK and AU releases have one (and I'd have been interested to know if it was dubtitled like the UK release). But definitely a wonderful film.

Thanks

as far as i can tell its not dubtitled. some lines are rather different from the dub. there are two subtitle streams on the disc ..one for the japanese and one for hearing impaired. the hearing impared one is the same as the dub.

Cool, thanks. We only got one sub track on our release unfortunately.

But it's still so awesome everyone should buy it anyway.
