Wedding Peach bonus disc 1

Although I'm a big fan of Wedding Peach, I held off getting RightStuf's WP V1 + artbox + extras DVD because I already have the singles and just hate double-dipping. At $9.99, I can say I definitely got my money's worth. The bundle includes<ul type="square">[*] Wedding Peach, vol. 1 - which most fans probably already have[*] S1 art box - not quite chipboard, but sturdy; artwork features the three "Love Angels" on each side[*] inflatable WP toy - I'm almost afraid to open it [img]/images/graemlins/shy10000.gif[/img][*] S1 bonus disc - the main item of interest for me[/list]I unexpectedly got the S2 bonus disc from an ADV sale. I was trying to complete the singles and they sent me the double-disc volume 6. It includes a lot of fun extras too, but the first bonus disc stands out.

From the menu:<ul type="square">[*] Angel Robo Wedding Peach - This parody episode is great. I've stated my disinterest in mecha anime before, but this sendup is hilarious. Imagine Yousuke being crucified on Tokyo Tower with Pluie returning from hell to torment everyone. Giant Robo Sacchima joins the battle and only the Giant Robo Love Angels and transformer Love Chapel can save the day! When the angels board their suits their wedding dresses become a major impediment, getting caught on buildings and underpasses. A battle costume transformation solves that problem and their new, more destructive love powers help them vanquish the enemy. If only Momoko's pufferfish robotic face didn't reveal her identity![*] Furil Promotional Video - The Love Angel seiyuu perform the ED in a cosplay AMV. The LA Angels are even more kawaii than their anime counterparts![*] Staff and Cast Talk Show - The director and R2 cast discuss their impression of the series at its halfway point.[*] English Voice Actor Interviews - I was surprised to find ADV VAs who actually took their project seriously. They sounded like they had actually watched the show and listened to the Japanese track. Sugoi![*] Original and clean OP and ED - Nothing unusual, but I was reminded of how much better the music and mood was for Season 1 [IMO].[/list]I wholeheartedly recommend this bundle to hardcore Wedding Peach fans. The only downside is you may start hunting for the Season 2 box, and I don't mean the thinpack version.
