5 stars all the way!
Even better than the first volume.

Well I'm always gonna rate Monster 5 stars, so I don't even need to say that I'm a huge fan.

I put 4 stars. It's good, but it's starting to look like the Fugitive.

This volume is much better than the 1st volume since there is not so much focus on Tenma but more on Nina. The best thing about this volume is the bit of Nina fanservice that was missing from the anime.

Five stars for sure, but why is there the old (and unused) black cover on the review and not the correct white one?

It's good, better than the first, but that's to be expected now that introductions are out of the way. But overall pacing of the story is still a little stiff--that last chapter doesn't help. Characters and suspense are still somewhat archetypal for me, but I can see it slowly growing beyond the general confines, especially if it's drawn out as long as this series goes.

(But man, Jarred, I'm more waiting for your review of Eden #3--one of the more emotionally disturbing single volumes of the year so far in any series... )

I can't say anything, of course, but it just took things up a serious notch or two. A brutal read.
