their movies are immorality, cage, akiba girls, & sex warrior pudding.

has anyone bought or seen any of them?

i think that they no longer in business. is this true?

I've seen Akiba Girls. It was nice. It's disappointing there wasn't any more of it.

I don't know if they went out of business or they just changed the name. Sex Warrior Pudding is now being released by Japananime. Hustler was using "Japan X" for their hentai releases. (Edit: That might be wrong. Looking at the DVD again I think that Japan X was the original Japanese publisher, and not a name being used by Hustler.)
I also see that "Hustler" is not in the studio listings of Anime on DVD or Right Stuf.

I do have Sex Warrior Pudding but I do not remember much about it. I guess that it was just OK for me, since it did not make an impression on me one way or the other.

Huslter Video is still going but they only did a few license from JapanX in the R1 market before the advent of JapanAnime.

You see JapanX orginal put out Cage, Akiba Girls, Immorality, and Sex Warrior Pudding but exclusive distabution with XonAir. Plus they were a little wonky in that there releases were somewhat R2 release only but with english subs. Some times us in R1 could order them, sometimes we couldn't with them stating it was for Japan only.

Then they cut a deal with Hustler Video which is rather large porn company associated with the magazine. And they put out the above shows at two episode sub only.

Then JapanAnime was spawned by JapanX and put out Sex Warrior Pudding Vol. #3 the final volume that to the one that Hustler put out v1 & v2. Now JA is going to release Sex Warrior Pudding Complete Collection with all three volumes. This seems to indicate the agreement with Hustler is over and JA will release those title now.

Now I plan on getting SWP complete since I really enjoyed that show. And I have the Hustler Video release. I will then compare the two to see if any the subs and video quality changed. If they everything is the same then I think all Hustler was a release middleman. If there some difference then I would guess Larry's company did some work. Mind you Akiba Girls and SWP had some video and sub issues so it is hoped by some that they do improve that a little.

In the end though I don't think we will be seeing anymore hentai from Hustler Video, as I doubt it was all that successiful for them.

immorality could have been good. cheap animation and the show wasn't complete hope it does get finsh, but everbody knows it not going to happen. I hate uncomplete shows

Previously discussed abit. Long story short, JapanAnime is XOnAir & JapanX's sister company, but JapanX specializes in Live Action porn, so that business was transferred over the JapanAnime label. Hustler is not a licensor in these titles, just a distributor. In fact, they're JapanX's exclusive distributor (that didn't just fall in anime). If you want more JapanX anime, look to JapanAnime (they're essentially the same damn company). They're still in business, but only release LA porn now.
