Default Initial D Drift Racer

Has anyone had a chance to check out the UK cinema showing of the Initial D live-action movie yet?
It opened on Friday the 12th and I got a chance to check it out last night as Belfast was one of a few places around the UK showing it.
I have the R3 DVD, so I'd already seen it, but as expected the cinema screen etc make it all the better.
The most surprising thing I found was that it was subtitled. I was really expecting to walk into a dodgy dub! Aside from the group of three I was with, there was a couple who left about 10 minutes in (no doubt expecting something completely different - in English!) and two guys who stayed til the end.

Anyway, it's a great film if you have any knowledge of Initial D (although it is pretty confusing if you aren't at all knowledgable on the series) so go check it out if it's on near you!

Where's it showing in Belfast?

If all the screenings are as empty as the one you were at, I doubt it'll be hanging around for long...

The Odyssey. Yeah, I can't see it being on for more than a week or so. Anyone stumbling in blind looking for the fast and the furious will be sorely disappointed.
Even if someone did go in blind and enjoy it, without having seen the anime or read the manga, it's gonna leave them pretty damn confused.

Seeing it tonight at Star City in Brum; hope I can keep up as I've only read the first volume of the manga.
