Default ADV £4.99 sale in HMV

I was in HMV down Oxford Street at lunch today and they had several discs from ADV for £4.99. The ones I saw were:

Spriggan (original release)
Gunsmith Cats
Queen Emeraldas
Martian Successor Nadesico 1-6
Generator Gawl (I only saw 2-4, but they may have had 1 somewhere)

No idea if that's all there will be but it's pretty decent, I might pick up the rest of Gawl now.

That more or less mimics the list of titles that ADV are running out of production. I'd expect that Dirty Pair Flash is floating around in there somewhere too.

Definitely pick up Gawl, it's great! It even has a proper ending which a lot of shows can't seem to manage...

Grr, my nearest HMV has no anime titles in its sale. As an aside, and I can say this with some authority having worked in HMV a few years ago, the summer sale is a generic markdown. That is, items in the sale are mostly just stock that hasn't sold in the last 60 days or so and have been reduced.

The HMV in manchester didn't have any perticular anime titles in the sale the only one I noticed was spirited away everything else was just normal price.

HMV is still my friend at the moment since they're selling pretty much all anime DVDs at £15 and under. I even got the whole of Narue no Sekai for £15, although it is only two discs and looks like it's dub-only.

It doesn't just look like it, it is dub-only. Every non-hentai anime released by Animazing has been. And what HMV do you go to? The ones in Oxford Street and Reading have little over £15 other than sale items.
