Default Suzuka from delrey in august! Are you looking forward to it?

I am currently following the Japanese release of Suzuka. I just read the latest two chapters of it, and the events that most people have been waiting for just happened, SPOILER read at your own risk Suzuka finally breaks up with Yamato. I can't wait to get my hands on this manga, thank goodness Delray is going to release it unedited by the warning i can see on the cover.

I have finished the anime and quite frankly I think Suzuka is the biggest b*tch ever. Not sure if I want to buy the manga yet but let me ask you this - does the manga have any detailed nudity?

It has very detailed panty shots and some NIPPLES.
The anime doesn't do justice to the manga.

I dont know.

I only watched the first episode and thought it was crap (nothing special about the show). But I also read that its supposed to get better in later eps. Anyways, I guess I'll give the first 2-3 manga vols. a chance.

Oh, and I hope your spoiler is not about a love declaration, a kiss or something else which would be obvious to be put in a spoiler space in a discussion thread of a Shonen Romance series, thus meaning that it would have been better to not write it at all.

Hmm I've read 2 volumes of this. And I thought it was good; but it's just not the type of manga I tend to buy a lot.
I'll see what I do when it's released.

I held off on pre-ordering it through my comic shop like I usually do, but since I like shounen/fanservice-y romances and have really liked what Del Rey has done with their manga line, I'll probably pick up at least the first volume when it comes out.

Hmmm? I saw them at $12.95 at the TRSI, but maybe they have a discount there. I wonder why they priced them so expensive.

It is $12.95. It's going to receive the "Mature" packaging treatment from Del Rey because evidently the content is a little too much at times (which you've hinted at here). The good thing is that the trim size will be bigger than other books, which was really nice with Basilisk. Just look at a copy of Basilisk to see how they'll be treating it.

I'm looking forward to it. I've seen the anime and enjoyed the story. I know the manga has the better artwork of the 2 which is icing on the cake. Del Rey's been getting most of my money for manga anyways (collecting xxxHolic, Negima, Genshiken, and thinking about aquiring School Rumble).
