Default Fullmetal Alchemist Movie Special Edition?

[ QUOTE ]
From ANN:
Heiskell also announced that the Fullmetal Alchemist movie will be available with a special limited edition lenticular cover at Waldenbooks, with a special 30-minute documentary included only in the Best Buy edition.

So does this mean we're not getting the fancy R2 clone?

No, it sounds like they're talking about variants of the regular edition exclusive to those stores.

The proper R2-like special limited edition has already been solicited (and is more expensive).

If you want, you could buy the Standard Version twice (the Waldenbooks AND the Best Buy one) and also the Limited Edition.

But I'm just sticking to the LE myself (even though I have the R2 LE, I'd like the extras. Subtitled.). Funds are playing a role in this too. I'd like to get these Retailer-specific bonuses.

EDIT: Although it's very possible that Behind the Scenes feature disc might be Disc 2 of the Limited Edition.

I highly doubt it. I think Best Buy would need the rights to those extras and I'm sure they don't have them. And anyway, look at the bonus discs that are generally included as "Best Buy exclusives." From what I've seen the most you get is about a half hour of content.

So then LE buyers didn't get shafted by the exclusives at the Best Buy and Waldens? The only ones who got potentially shafted are the regular edition pre-orders, right?

I certainly hope thats the case, since I preordered the LE during the last Funi Right Stuf sale. Although the blurb at ANN wasn't very useful/informative so hopefully someone who was there will clear things up soon.

Not to get too far off topic but holy crap I just read this part:

Hell, if Trinity Blood gets treated that nice, I wonder what is in store for FMP TSR.
