It depends.

Since I came across these numbers a few days ago on 2ch, here are the measurements for Simca in Air Gear: T158 B92-W59-H88.

Hah, that's very funny. You know that most of the characters mentioned in this thread have their three sizes listed in various artbooks and webpages. It's just that everyone's too lazy to look them up. [img]/images/graemlins/happy.gif[/img]

It's not uncommon for artists to write down the three sizes and heights for all of their major characters. It makes it so that they can keep their drawing consistant. Then you won't get the silliness that happens in shows like Bakuretsu Tenshi (Burst Angel) where the bust sizes grow each episode.

Official. I got most of them from artbooks and websites. For example Girls Bravo was from Wowow's character page. Godannar's was from the Godannar.com character data page. The Negima class sizes can be found in this book which I'm entirely too tired to translate the name of right now. something about Mahotsukai official guide something or other. I noticed that some of the female characters are quite tall (over 167 cm), and not only that, but they are "mature" in size and appearance. I wonder whether there is a common stereotype of short younger characters and tall older characters found in anime.

Well for the most part, older will be taller, but that's not always the case. Check out Tenma and Yakumo in School Rumble or... well I guess Eva from Negima doesn't count, but most of the girls in 3-A in Negima are the same age, but they definitely aren't all the same size. However I would say, in general for anime, taller is older. BTW, 167cm is only around 5'5" so it's not that tall.

The bust size by itself doesn't determine whether a woman is large chested or not. You can be fat and have a 85cm bust and still wear an A-cup (although that's rare since a breast is mostly fat anyway. If you are fat you will tend to have larger breasts... but that's beside the point).

To figure out if a woman has a large chest or not, you should look at the ratio of their chest size to their waist size. It's extremely uncommon for a woman to have a large collar, chest, and ribcage, but extremely small hips (although again, it is possible, it's just rare). Getting the actual cup size helps alot.

In terms of anime, since most women aren't evenly proportioned from chest to waist, you can say that women with over 85cm are kyonyuu. Take Nami and Robin from One Piece. Definitely kyonyuu

Anyway, terms for people looking this stuff up to remember:
巨乳 - kyonyuu - huge breasts
普通 - futsuu - normal (although normal for most anime is large in real life)
貧乳/微乳 - hinnyuu/binyuu - small breasts
無乳/��ん� - Munyuu/Petanko - flat cheasted
