Karin Music

Watching Karin, I'm struck how similar the music is to some other show, but I can't quite pinpoint where I've heard the music before. The opening song, Scarlet seems to put me in mind of SMJ, but I can't really describe why.

I do like this music, though. More than some other shows I have seen recently.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Don't know what Karin is (stopped following anime...) but I did a lookup and the composer is 西田マサラ (Nishida Masara). Some of the other shows Nishida composed are:
