Default Fireworks displays in anime

As November is fireworks month - 5th in UK & Thanksgiving(?) in the US, it seems good for a topic.

What anime shows & episodes have the best fireworks scenes & displays?

My favourite for pyrotechnics is the Halloween episode on the 1st Dirty Pair OVA volume.

I don't know, 4th of July is more of a fireworks day than Thanksgiving in the US...

Almost every anime ever made has a fireworks scene of some kind. And every harem and h-game based anime ever made has a fireworks scene in the festival episode. Actually narrowing it down to one show is hard.

[/ QUOTE ]Fireworks on Thanksgiving? I wish. Might liven the holiday up a tad. We don't use fireworks on just any holiday; usually only 4th of July and New Year's Eve. Not even Halloween sees much if any firework use here that I'm aware of. Some people do launch them on their birthdays though. Of course, fireworks were illegal in my state until fairly recently, so it could just be a regional thing over here.

Hmm, maybe I should order some fireworks for Thanksgiving now....

Gankutsou has some pretty nice fireworks in one of the first few episodes if I recall correctly. I only saw the first three episodes or so though.

There's a pretty good one in Steel Angel Kurumi, if I remember correctly.

Lots of shows with festival scenes have one, since they commonly have fireworks displays at them, at least from what I've seen.

There's an interesting use of fireworks in the last episode of volume 3 of Sister Princess. They're small items packaged for home use [Fireworks for Good Children!], but they serve as a plot device to reveal the surprise ending.

I just saw some nice fireworks in an anime this week. I think it was probably in the Elda/School Culture Fest story in episode 19 and 20, or thereabouts. I just remember thinking they were very pretty, even though they were very short (in the episode).

I think there was a good fireworks episode in Hand Maid May, but it's been a while since I watched that.

Weren't there fireworks a couple times in YUA?
