I'm sad to see W Juliet end, though I'm happy enough with how it ended. It's one I've been enjoying tremendously through its run. I agree with the rushed/squished feel of the end, though.

Thanks for doing all those reviews of it!

For the most part I liked the ending, yet I wish the series had gone one more volume cause I also agree that this final volume felt cramped. There was very little interaction or real resolution between Makoto and his father, the issue with Tatsuyoshi felt very rushed, and [hide]the one thing the cover teases about is the one thing we don't get to see![/hide]

Over all, W Juliet has been a fun romance. I'm not usually into stories with a lot of comedy, but this one balances it well. The sometimes over the top drama and occasional supernatural elements fit in well with the backdrop of the world of acting. I loved watching Ito change from her total tomboy image to the girl we see on the last few panels, not because she was forced to, but because being more feminine came naturally to her under the influence of love. I've been there, done that. Makoto's changes are more subtle, since its hard to tell how much of his manliness was always there and how much grew out of his love for Ito. The secondary romances are also well done, particularly between Yƻta and Akane.

Over all, yep, a good series :D

Isn't there a W-Juliet II....?

Although from what I skimmed.. the main characters aren't quite the main characters?

Whoa, really? Hmm...I found a page about it on one manga site that indicates it picks up a month after [hide]the wedding[/hide]. I found one pic of the cover of the first volume.
