All this talk about "drunk" dubbing and not a peep about Fujisawa-sensei from El Hazard?

I forget exactly who played him in english, but he sounded fantastically blitzed.

I believe that would be Michael Sorich, and yes, he was more than adequately blitzed during all of Fujisawa-sensei's drunk moments...very fun.

Also to add is Monica Rial's comic drunkeness in Negima after she picks up the wrong 'juice' shall we say during one of Negi's experiments...technically not alcohol but still very funny...

Who played the drunk bum in Gantz?

I think it was James Faulkner, but I'm not sure...

In any case, that guy was awesome.

Just started re-watching the GTO dub, and David Lucas' Ekichi Onizuka was a pretty good drunk performance - loud drunk, quiet contemplative slurred drunk, tossing cookies drunk and even the belch. And that was just episode 2.

And brief as it was, Lia Sargent's drunk Milly Thompson from Trigun quickly came to mind when i saw the thread title.

I also recall Kate Higgins' Edel from Planetes, for a pretty good recent example of slightly slurred forceful drunk.
