I HEARD that Media Blasters ran out of money for dubbers so they're stealing Deoremi dubs offline and producing them on DVD. At this rate Media Blasters MIND AS WELL start doing Hentei, which I'm sure is in the plans now. If they didn't run out of money, then why else do they give us bendy paper boxes? I haven't bought a single damn thing from Media Blasters ever since they bailed out on us with the second season of Ah! My Goddess.

Personally, I'm hoping for Kagihime Monogatari Eikyuu Alice Rondo. 3-4 DVD release, subbed only(if they dub it, that'd be extremely nice but I'm not hopeful). The series has Media Blasters written all over it I'll say... Magical Bunny Girls FOR THE WIN.

First off, that rumor is easily NOT TRUE. They just don't wan't to throw away money on shows that they know will probably not sell as well as others. That and they probably don't want to use all the money they're getting from Voltron right away...

Second, Media Blasters has said that they picked up Ah! My Goddess to have a known seller and become more well known.

They didn't bail; they just never planned to pick up season 2.

Do you mean "might as well"?
Ummm... Nick, you do realize that Kitty Media IS part of Media Blasters, and they've been releasing Hentai pretty much since they first began. Don't watch the stuff myself, but solicitations are on AODvd's front page all the time [I also remember Sirabella mentioning 3 of their hentai titles were the first 3 things they ever licensed back around 1996 or so].

I don't think they've been stealing subs from any online subber [not that some subbers don't deserve it]. I don't think I've ever heard a case of an R1 company doing that.... I think it's just in some fans head, since translations invariably will be similar due to it being based on the same material.

Sorry, I just REALLY want a dub... I'll get it either way, but I really love my dubs

I keep hoping Geneon will get it, but with Media Blasters string of licenses of late, I doubt it will go anywhere but there.

But please, no matter how sucky they want to make the dub, or how outrageous they want to charge for it, let there be dub!
