FUNimation has acquired the romantic comedy Ouran High School Host Club, the magical Sasami and sci-fi adventure series Baldr Force EXE Resolution.





About Ouran High School Host Club –

Ouran High School Host Club is a 26 episode series from NTV (studio is Bones of Fullmetal Alchemist fame)

Haruhi is a poor tomboyish student at a school for the ultra-wealthy, able to attend because of a scholarship, and unable to even afford a uniform. One day, she stumbles across the Ouran Host Club. She tries to leave, but accidentally breaks a vase, and unable to pay for it, she's told that she'll have to stay and do odd jobs. That is, until they decide she would be more valuable as a club member. Not realizing she's female due to her appearance, they fix her up and give her a male uniform. She's an instant hit, so they decide to have her keep up the charade even after they find out the truth. Haruhi, being average almost to a fault, doesn't know what to make of the unconventional activities of the Host Club (or of the even more unconventional members), but having little choice, she plays along. Before long, real bonds are formed, friends made, and Haruhi finds herself accepted in a way she could never have been otherwise in this affluent school.





About Sasami –

Sasami is a spinoff of the Tenchi Muyo series. It is 26 episodes and from NTV. Synopsis: In this world, there lives a group of people termed "Majo", or "Magical Girls". They hide their powers so as to assimilate into their environment. They have lived in harmony with humans for many years. Sasami is one such Majo who, at the age of three, was warned by her parents never to use her innate powers. Sasami respects this wish until a mysterious teacher named Wajuu transfers in and takes charge of her school’s cooking club. It is at this point that Sasami's life begins a drastic transformation.





About Baldr Force EXE Resolution --

Baldr Force EXE Resolution is a 4 episode OVA from Crei (studio is Satelight).

Toru Soma was a member of "Steppen Wolf", a group of hackers. The group decided to do one more hacking attack by attempting to hack into FLAK, a major military organization run by the United Nations to prevent cyber terrorism. However, they were discovered quickly, which resulted in the death of Yuya, Steppen Wolf's leader and Toru's friend, as well as their arrest. In order to avoid a long term in prison, Tooru ultimately decided to join FLAK, in order to find out who killed Yuya. While Toru tries to find the murderer of his friend, he and his new teammates are to defend the wired world from Fei Dao, an extremist group who threatens to disrupt the stability of the wired world.
