A goth-loli and a hot nun have the possibility of some girl-girl love, but do we really want horror and detailed dismemberment thrown into that mix?

I think the yuri gets better. I know that there's a licking scene between Meg and Angela in the 3rd volume (I think). I saw a scan over at shoujoai.com.

Anyway. I would say it earns it's Stawberry line designation due to how devoted Meg and Angela are to each other. The yuri is there, and it is strong.

Weren't you the one using that picture as an avatar?

Anyway, it was a nice first volume, but it needs more yuri. I was a bit surprised at the gore level as well. I had heard it was violent, but I was surprised when [hide]you could see Angela's guts spilling out after she was bisected.[/hide]

Yes. I was using it has an avatar. There's a bit more, that picture was part of a sequence. :>

Remember, buying stuff from the Strawberry Line shows Seven Seas, and other publishers, that we likes yuri and we want more of it in the future.

I'm way ahead of you there. Already prepared to buy all the Yuri they're releasing. (Doesn't hurt that so far I like the look and sound of everything they're releasing.)

I only gave this volume 3 stars because I was disappointed in the light amount of yuri content and I felt like the story itself could have been better developed in places.

But that said, I did like it overall and plan on checking out volumes 2+, especially if the yuri becomes more prominent.

So I guess as a question for those that have read both T.L. and V.V.V., ignoring all thoughts/desires for yuri (especially since I think shoujo-ai is probably a better description), which story do you like better so far? T.L. or V.V.V.?

So far I would say V.V.V., only because we see the set up of the main cast and get a good idea of what exactly their enemy in the series is. In T.L., there's some good action scenes, but we haven't really gotten any background or anything that ties the stories together just yet. So I find myself more drawn to V.V.V. at the moment, though that could always change...
