Default KA Esuma LNs

Yeah, I think by now people know I'm a KyoAni fanboy. Back in April, I ordered the Chuunibyou LNs to translate them prior to the anime airing and so I've finally gotten around to getting the other three. The collection...is up-to-date! Also all are first editions, which pleases me as well.

Covers/spines

May 2011 titles:
Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai!
Yuuyake Toudai no Himitsu

December 2011 titles:
Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! 2
Oyashiki to Coppelia

June 2012 title:
Kyoukai no Kanata

Kyoto Animation's store is the best place to buy it from if you're importing it, you'll need to use a service like Yokatta to buy them as the KyoAni Shop doesn't take cards from overseas.

Though if you have friends in Japan ultimatemegax has a list of stores which stock Kyoto Animation's books, which I imagine will be way cheaper for you if anyone lives near one of the several hundred stores.

Jbook is where I got the others (and they give postcards with each book now). I ordered Chuunibyou from KyoAni's own web store twice (had to trash a copy of each for image scans) and their shipping is more expensive. Novel 1/Novel 2

I would go with Tenso since two novels aren't going to push it over the 1 kg mark and so your fee would be 490 yen+EMS shipping. The 3 I got today were right on that edge and, after seeing Yuuyake, it would've doubled my fee to make it more expensive than Yokatta.

Of course, since you have friends in Japan, they could try to pick it up at one of the retailers.

I'll ask the guy to get them from JBOOK for me. KyoAni has some cool Chu items though, the calendar and the poster looks awesome, but they don't have any first print copies of the LNs left. Does JBOOK and is there any difference from first print to say, second print editions?

EDIT: Looks like no stock at JBOOK either

Nah, the first printing has been sold out since August. There shouldn't be any differences that I'm aware of. Sorry for missing JBOOK was out of stock. They've been selling quite well (and the end of the anime should boost sales since it was anime original).

After a little bit of research it looks like the only difference are the book jackets.

http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/img329.auc...e97gx96779.jpg is how the second print jackets looks like. Meh, both jackets should have been transparent in the first place to be honest, but only the jacket for the first print edition of the first book is.

Ended up buying the second editions from some random store and I also managed to snag the OP and ED singles with the Animate box.
