Default The Darkness, Bioshock or Halo 3

Of those 3, for my 360, which should I buy?

Bioshock. The Darkness was kinda cool, but more of a rental than anything. Great story, gameplay... just not that solid. Halo 3 is alright. The single player is better than in the last two games from what I played, but shooting things still isn't very fun in that game. No feeling of impact, you run too slowly, the story still sucks, etc. Bioshock is actually a really good game, though it's not your typical FPS by any means. Much more methodical.

It just so happens I have a Darkness review, and I'm working on a Bioshock review.
Here's The Darkness:
Darkness Review

My grades go like this:
1) Bioshock: 9.5
2) Darkness: 8.0
3) Halo 3: 7.5

I'm an extreme hardass when it comes to scores, so think of 9.5 as an 11.
Bioshock is just that good.

If you want multiplayer, you want Halo. Single player, Bioshock.

The Darkness however, is a vastly underrated shooter that received little to no attention and for the dirt cheap prices you can find it for now, its absolutely worth it.

EDIT: So yeah, you want Bioshock. If you can score the Darkness for $20 (which apparently is very simple) then go for that as well.

Bioshock is strictly average and in no way deserving of the hype and game of the year awards.

Halo 3 is very, very good but again, don't get too caught up in the hype machine as it isn't that good.

The Darkness is excellent, very under rated with a great story and I'd suggest it for single player experience, Halo 3 for multiplayer.

Really though, Call of Duty 4 is the best FPS out there at the minute.

Actually, I should note that I played the PC version of Bioshock which felt somehow different from the 360 version. I can't put my finger on it though....

For single player, Bioshock.
For multiplayer (DM or Co-Op), Halo 3.
For if you have some spare money after the above, The Darkness.

Bioshock is all around a good experience; a beautiful game with solid gameplay and an interesting story.

Halo 3...I loved it, but if you weren't a fan of the first two, I can't imagine this really changing your mind. Playing the campaign through online with friends makes it worthwhile, though.

The Darkness...it does captivate you...at least on the first playthrough. Problem for me was, after you're done with it, there's nothing that'll really keep you going; unless you want to play the disposable multiplayer mode.

Either game you choose, you should enjoy it...so I would hope.

I have all three. Here's how I'd rank them in order:

1) Bioshock
2) The Darkness
3) Halo 3

A long as you make sure to play through Bioshock, th rest is just of secondary importance.

BioShock

You can get The Darkness for $29.99 at WalMart though.

Actually I've got one better for you. Tomorrow starts some new promos at GameStop, and one of them there's no printed stuff yet is if you buy Bioshock new, you can get The Darkness new for free. It should ring up automatically when you get checked out. So now up until February 3rd you can get two of those games on your list for the price of one.
