I think the series would have been better off ending at 24. I kinda get why there were 2 more episodes, but since I don't like their pacing for non bicycling race parts.. yeah.

ABC's of Love.... Funny and yet a waste of a time.

There's a really strong slashy vibe to this series(yet not because there's this whole brotherhood thing going on at the same time, although a lot of the Koichi and Yuusuke scenes could uh... go another way)

I think I do like Koichi and Yamoto the best(Yamoto for his hilarious habit of punching people, and his backstory , although his parent situation wasn't really explained.) Award ceremony ftw! Koichi looked so much cuter when he was younger though.. but I like him for the thoughtful planner that he is.

The race was definitely some of the best parts of this anime! If only I didn't have to trudge through the first 6 episodes for it...

On a side note, I remember thinking why does Shinozaki have Yamoto in a polka dot shirt... and wikied the Tour of France.. apparently it's a mountain king jersey... Props to the anime for even having this detail.

I'm reviving this from the dead!

Okay not that I actually have an actual anime in mind when reviving this thread, and discussing in fact, what you consider THE anime that bought you into the sports fold.

Mine? Prince of Tennis of course even if I dropped it(Ryoma was overpowered pretty much never even really lost to ANYONE. The girl characters were non-existant; a series to be buoyed only by the yaoi)

Of course, for the North American releases, I definitely would say Princess Nine, which I think did okay for ADV(RIP). Of course then Hajime no Ippo kinda tanked....

Any interesting sports anime lately? I know there one at least, Moshidora, any thoughts?

I STILL haven't finished Major which was a major reason for the activity in this thread. I can't believe they are forcing the match between Goro and (crap I forgot his name......I can only remember Junior). What would Goro then live for? Baseball freaks =P
