I really love how the Genshiken omnibus isn't some shitty 3 covers in 1 or a generic character image dump.

As for Barbara though, it's kinda ridiculously bad and looks like some Dr. Seuss book cover to me. Though it's Tezuka so I'll be buying it regardless.

If there has ever been any credit to Kodansha Comics, at the very least, they've been competent in cover design/choice.

It's pretty classic Tezuka, so there is that, but it is also from DMP (and even more, Barbara was a Kickstarter project from them). They aren't exactly known for their extravagant covers, unfortunately.
