It's been a while, and I've been busy. Hopefully I can get back into the groove of things and update on a consistent basis once more.

Man, I knew there'd be no way Yen Press would be able to keep BTOOOM!'s XBox360 game case stylized artwork. But I do like how they still kept the "video game boxart" design with their cover.

Yeah, I had pretty much expected that the cover design would need to be changed. A little disappointed that they even had to change the color, though as I was made aware of when I first found the cover, the new logo used is actually that of Tyrannos (the company that makes BTOOOM! inside the manga). Very clever.

and here I was thinking it was just some weird new logo Yen Press made

I think I probably prefer the new cover design, but probably because I find the green XBox360 cases to just be really tacky and a poor design choice overall. (which come to think of it is similar to my thoughts on BD cases/banners... stop making bad universal design choices people)


Overall though, it's much better than I was thinking it'd be. Only thing I can think of that bugs me about it now is the lack of any fake ratings label.
