Default Where do you fit into the R1 consumer political spectrum?

So a number of years back I made a little test over at another forum to attempt to quantize people's opinions on the politics of fansubbing into a Myers Brigg's type test and score. I've now revamped and completely redid the test recalibrated a bit for the audience on this forum, I hope everyone enjoys it and maybe learns a little bit about themselves, too .

Instructions: Answer each of the following statements with either "I agree" or "I do not agree". Choose whichever one comes closest to your true opinion, and you must answer each statement. After you are done, reveal the spoiler below and follow the instructions written there.

1. I often watch anime on broadcast television.
2. Fansubs are a significant part of the reason for the recent decrease in DVD sales in R1.
3. I own at least one figure of an anime character.
4. I mostly watch anime I've downloaded (or streamed), instead of from DVDs.
5. I prefer to purchase box sets of entire shows instead of single releases.
6. I refuse to pay for a download that has DRM of any sort.
7. If an anime company decides to release a show I like only on Blu-ray, and not on standard DVD, I would be angry at them.
8. I've been to an anime convention more than once.
9. I feel that a box is important when buying a series in singles.
10. The R1 industry would be better off today if digital fansubbing had never become as widespread as it has.
11. The only way to combat fansubs is to produce a legal product that matches their speed and "quality".
12. Free streaming, ad-supported, near simultaneous internet broadcasts (like Gonzo is doing for Tower of Druaga) would be good for anime as a whole.
13. I have watched at least one series fansubbed, in its entirety, that I never purchased legally (not including those shows that have not been licensed).
14. I hope that Bandai Visual USA goes out of business.
15. If I were to purchase a DVD, I would normally use an online retailer instead of going to a physical store.
16. The type of audio track on the DVD or Blu-ray (PCM vs. 5.1 vs. stereo, etc) affects my decision as to whether to purchase it.
17. I think that Japanese Anime companies should consider working WITH fansubbers.
18. Fansubbers have no right to be angry at Crunchyroll for profiting off of their work.
19. Increasing the number of shows released without a dub will harm the R1 industry in the long run.
20. The future of anime depends on expanding more into the global markets.

Your score is based on 3 integer values from -5 to +5 called your PC, OM, and LR score.
For each statement that you agreed with, add the corresponding value to the appropriate score as given in the list below. For statements which you disagreed with, do nothing.
Your final scores are the final totals of your PC, OM, and LR scores.

1. -2 OM
2. -2 LR
3. +1 OM
4. +2 PC
5. -1 OM
6. -2 PC
7. -1 PC
8. +2 OM
9. +1 OM
10. -2 LR
11. +2 LR
12. +1 PC
13. +1 LR
14. -2 OM
15. +1 PC
16. +1 OM
17. +2 LR
18. -1 LR
19. -2 PC
20. +1 PC

Explanation of scores: You PC score measures how accepting you are of new methods of watching anime (Progressive/Conservative). A very high score means you are receptive to the latest internet streaming technology, whereas a very negative score means you prefer having physical media with a long track record like DVDs.
Your OM score measures how fanatical you are about anime related purchasing (Otaku/Mainstream). If you must have the fanciest special first pressing limited edition, you have a very high OM score. If all you really care about is watching the next episode when it airs on cartoon network, you have a very negative OM score.
Finally, your LR score measures how much the legality of the methods of watching anime matters to you (liberal/copyRights). A very positive score means you don't find fansubs to be particularly harmful. A very negative score means you wish fansubs had never existed.

Feel free to discuss the questions as well, there are no "wrong answers" here, I think.

I don't think I'm apt for providing the answers that might help with any research being done with this. There are too many variables that go into some of the questions that I don't exactly have a definitive answer for.

I'm not going to reveal my answers, because I'd rather keep it confidential.

Anyways, assuming I did it correctly...

Liberal/Copyrights: 5
Otaku/Mainstream: 2
Progressive/Conservative: 0

It sounds about right and lines up with my opinions to me.

Oh, this isn't for any actual research. I am a scientist, yes, but my field is in theoretical physics. I only dabble in otaku psycology .

But it can be useful, especially in seeing where you stand in comparison with other people on this forum.

In the spirit of full disclosure, my scores were PC 2, OM 0, LR 5
I agreed with questions 1,3,4,5,6,8,11,12,13,17, and 20.

I agree with 5,6,12,15,17,19,20.

-1 Otaku/Mainstream
-1 Progressive/Conservative
2 Liberal/Copyrights

That seems about right to me.

I came in as

LR +1
OM +1
PC +2

which appears to mean that I give a rat's ass, but only from a small rat.

OM : +4
PC : 0
LR : -1

That sounds right, if this was me a year ago my PC score would have been high

It's only a matter of time till we get a +5 Otaku in here... come on, I know you're out there . Hopefully at least someone scores a positive 5 and minus 5 for each of the scores; that would mean I calibrated the test properly to this forum's audience .

Heh, the one positive OM statement I did not agree with was 16. If only I had a nice sound system.
