Well, this cover is simple and everything seem to match pretty well.

This is the third collection for Gokusen, at the same price as the last one. Did this series sell better than I thought it did?

It's same deal with Midori Days as well. However this has the same retail price as the Economy Collection.

I wonder if the packaging's any different [ie- is it a brick/3disc dvd holder]? It's still an excellent show and a steal at this price- I've recommended it to a lot of people myself. It wouldn't surprise me if it's done better the MB expected.

I got a feeling that it will be a regular DVD case that holds the 3 DVDs. It may be like the latest Midori Days Collection release.

I don't think that they could sell it any lower than the last economy collection. And yes, this may just be following Midory Days in terms of releases.

Ah, so that's their angle. MB probably figured that enough people had seen the series on Encore WAM by now who would gladly pony up the cash for it. After all, who wouldn't buy the DVDs for a series that repeats every three weeks? XD

I didn't know it had been shown on tv... but then it is a very entertaining series!
