Ah come on, we all know Jil secretly pines for Neeba. Okay maybe not. In any case I wonder why 10 is being posted before 09.

The episode did much to propel the story forward, since there were times before when the story, a journey one no less, seemed to be more going towards no discernable future. With the surprise at the end, things should be interesting in seeing who'll get away as unscathed as possible. Some of the arguments made by the characters aren't anything new (see: predictability), but at least it was made relevant in terms of Jil, who lost some of his credibility with some of the criticism made his way ("mission accomplished," given the whole point of those opinions, not to mention that it was well-needed for a somewhat shallow/"simple" character like him). The "three betrayals" bit from the other episode also piqued interest in this one, with people like Kaaya, Neeba, and now Melt being likely possibilities (even the apparition that visited Jil before isn't completely free from suspicion). Not too bad of an episode, overall.
