It is with deep regret to announce the death of ENDLESS DISMAL MOAN's CHAOS9, aka TAKUYA TSUTSUI. His unexpected death on June 25, 2008, was confirmed by several e-mail messages from his friends and family, including TAKUYA's fiance Tomoko T. (aka T.M.K.), Ryo of Disk-Heaven Osaka, and former EDM member Lydian6.





We send our sincere condolences to the family and friends of TAKUYA TSUTSUI. We were very sad to learn of his suicide -- we have lost a true artist, a genius, and our friend. He seemed to be a tortured individual; and the turmoil within his soul was skillfully articulated through his music. The music of ENDLESS DISMAL MOAN is truly unique, not only as authentic Black Metal, but as true art far beyond the dross and mediocrity of mainstream aesthetics. EDM's music portrays a harrowing glimpse into the Blackened psyche of a tormented soul. CHAOS9 will continue to live on when we listen to his music. Our Scene has lost a true visionary. He will be missed.

On the 25 June 2008, Chaos9 of Endless Dismal Moan killed himself.



Under the concept of "ENDLESS DISMAL MOAN" he kept pursuing his darkest world completely to embody his spirituality. He always reflected his soul to all his songs without any compromise and fulfilled his life as an artist very successfully. We consider that his death means the accomplishment of his art and the freedom of his soul.


We are very grateful to everyone who ever supported ENDLESS DISMAL MOAN.
