Default Magical Witch Punie-chan?

So I'm going through the RightStuf new listings this morning, and spot one for "Magical Witch Punie-chan" listed for 21 Oct. Hadn't heard this one before; some digging suggests that it's probably 'Dai Mahou Touge', and right in line with Dokuro-chan. Thing is, I don't remember John S. announcing this one; don't see it in the licensing list, and didn't spot it on a quick thread search... Any thoughts? Or am I just out of the loop?

Well, John S. did make a comment about it in the topic where he announced having Dokuro-chan (in response to someone else talking about Dai Mahou Touge), but he didn't say anything it being licensed. Interesting that it pops up with a solicitation now.

Well I officially need a Media Blasters sale now to get the rest of Tweeny Witches, Kasimasi's boxset, Dokuro-chan and Punie-chan.

Except if it's like the last MB sale, it won't include preorders or recent releases. Maybe that was a one-time thing, but I'm expecting the worst while hoping for the best.

This could just be a classic Media Blasters stealth license announcement. That is, the solicitation is the announcement

Wouldn't be surprised... too bad I never did get around to trying this out. I kept meaning to, over and over and over.

Well, I'll wait for official release details, and if it's cheap enough I might get it anyway. MB is one company I don't mind blind buying from once in awhile, because they know what good prices are.

This is cheap enough for me to get whether it's Dai Mahou Touge or not. Hopefully more details about it will come out soon.

Yeah, that was unfortunate. Will all future MB studio sales from TRSI be like that? If that's the case, I will probably order most of my pre-orders elsewhere.

Heh, now that I think about it, John did express an impressive degree of familiarity with Dai Mahou Tenge in the Dokoro-chan thread....
