Yen Plus Impressions and Scans

I decided to make a thread for impressions and scans of the new Yen Plus manga anthology from Yen Press. Anyone going to Comic Con should be able to view a copy at the Yen Press area of the convention. Also, could anyone who sees it at Barnes & Noble or Borders please post.

Of course, that's exactly what I meant. For discussion and impressions. I'm really excited about this mag, and wouldn't want it to tank because of full scans or anything. I was thinking more for covers and page design and stuff. Thanks!

It will be on the 29th of July, but they have copies available early at Comic Con.

I bought a copy today at Barnes & Noble but haven't had time to flip through it yet. It was placed on the magazine rack's bottom shelf next to the ShojoBeat. (Annoyingly, this B&N store had re-ordered their magazine rack since I was there Saturday night. I had to hunt all through the rack to find the anime section again. )

I know how you feel. The manga section at my local B&N seemed to be rearranged every time I went there when it first opened. At one point, they had all the titles sorted by publisher.

My copy arrived at my comic store yesterday. I haven't had the chance to do more than a cursory flip through, but I'm impressed with what I see so far. It is done in a "flip cover" style with the Japanese manga on one side, and the Korean and American titles on the other. Maximum Ride is on the l-to-r side, while Soul Eater is on the r-to-l side.

I've got my copy held at b&n till I pick it up this weekend but I also have some stuff coming in from sasuga next week so I'll be busy that week reading.
