Maybe something new will get announced?

Considering the lack of counters on Bandai's homepage and the lack of any word from Funimation (they're pretty busy at the moment), I'd highly doubt it.

Maybe some release dates or further details, though.

I hope someone grills Bandai on their disc issues.

No ADV? Tsk. Tsk.

The lack of timers on BEI's site (watch, one will pop up when I'm done posting) and FUNimation has plenty to chew on for awhile. Unless, they decide to throw us something to chew on.

Even though AnimeFEST is in Texas ADV hardly ever seems to go to it or A-kon anymore it's too bad though they might be able to spread a little light on what is going on with their company besides all the rumors flying around the internet I will try to attend the 2 panels but might coincide with my shifts there at the convention. I'l be in the Video rooms most of the convention

We will most likely get nothing in the way of new licenses, again.

Funimation could be releasing news on the Sojitz titles that have incomplete dubs like Welcome to the NHK, Tokyo Majin, etc. The titles they are currently releasing had their dubs already completed before ADV stopped production on all the Sojitz titles.

Just wondering, what are the events where companies tend to announce many of their new license? I was never really into these sort of events so I only know Anime Expo. What are the others?

To be fair, NHK's dub has been completed. Greg Ayres said so a couple months back, IIRC. But as to some of the other Sojitz titles, like Tokyo Majin or Wallflower (which we know stopped production back in January), it would be nice to hear what Funi plans to do with them.

I don't think we'll find out at this con, though.

Well, Funimation says that it likes to release things with a dub and if they can't then the series themselves does not get released. I don't know when that will change, but for the series that they are getting from Sojitz, expect them to be dubbed. I don't see them changing that facet of their business at this date.
