Same here.... I have the original Afro Samurai on Blu-Ray, I will do the same for this. Somethings aren't worth double dipping on a standard dvd and blu-ray.... one or the other for me on this title and I went with BR...

I'd love to get the Blu-Ray version but for whatever reason FUNi has started region locking their releases so I'll have to opt for the DVD...

It's supposed to come out next year though...

It should be airing on the Spike Channel sometime in January. The DVD/Blu-ray releases may come out sometime in February.
