I reread this last night. I would thought that it was an enjoyable read, yes it has its faults but it is funny and reasonably well drawn.

If more volumes were brought out then I'd buy them.

I've only seen the preview for this, but I liked what I saw. I think the age of the characters (though they're early 20's and I'm late 20's already) is a nice draw for me personally, it's a refreshing break from stories that usually feature this setting always focusing on the students. It's definitely going on my to buy list.

That was my big attraction to this story. I like my teen comedies and romances as much as anyone, but stories about adults (even if they're childish) are a nice change of pace.

Thirded on the "good to see a cast of 20-somethings" opinion. And, considering we here at AoD are largely a batch of childish adults, well...

Yep, I'll add in a me too, to that as well. I find myself much more interested in stories with older characters now. Sure I still like the other stuff too, but I suppose because of my age and that it's so rare, that stories with older characters make me take notice of them more.

One thing that really surprised and pleased me about this title was the fact that there was real emotional content at the end of the book. Karasuma realized that the Maki-sensei she's been in love with for the past year is the same school girl who inspired her to not give up on being a teacher when she first started. And Arai decides to swallow her pride and date Maki's older brother again. I wasn't really expecting that from a 4-koma book.

Oh definitly, I felt that S.S. Astro managed to nicely balance the more serious parts with the comedy, and while not every joke was comedy gold, the book kept me smiling throughout.

Much of the comedy comes from Karasuma's unrequited love for the oblivious Izumi. While it's mostly played for laughs, there are some surprisingly sweet moments. I think you'll like it.

Aye, aye - that's one reason I enjoyed Master Keaton so much on the anime end of things. (Granted, he's WELL past "20-something", but the older-than-usual thing still stands.)
