Default Manga for an older audience with liberal amounts of fanservice?

Hello.

The end of High School Girls and the slow release schedule of Sundome has left me craving similarly raunchy manga. I don't really like typical shounen romance and harem stuff, and most of that material is rather tame anyway.

So is there anything with a decent plot and strong characterization, or that's just really hilarious, that you think might be suitable? Drama, comedy, and romance are my preferred genres, and the fewer volumes the better.

Thanks.

I concur with this request, it's exactly what I'm looking for: a mature fanservice-y that doesn't go nowhere for a dozen volumes or more.

Gantz, Akihabara@Deep, Black Lagoon, Futari Ecchi er.. Manga Sutra are a couple I have read for older audiences and some have fanservice/nudity. Someone needs to license stuff from Champion RED and Champion RED Ichigo. Peach from U-Jin is supposed to be coming out soonish. Doesn't help you out now though. I's would be recommended except for the Viz censoring.

Edit: Darn. Forgot Eiken and Beserk.

It's an older manga, but Dance Till Tomorrow is only 7 volumes long. Also, Welcome to the NHK is 8 volumes long, and gets pretty raunchy at times. The main character is a 22-year old shut-in.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

I should have mentioned that I already own Dance Till Tomorrow (one of my favourite manga) and Welcome the the NHK. Sorry. I also own Flowers and Bees, which would have been another good suggestion.

Akihabara@Deep sounds really interesting, although the few reviews I found didn't mention any particularly risqué content. Still, it's one that I might buy regardless. Ditto Black Lagoon (mmm, Revy). Manga Sutra is an obvious contender but I didn't like the anime much. And I shall be keeping a very close eye on U-Jin's Peach

Finally, I wouldn't consider the adult content in Berserk to be fanservice. It's not remotely titillating (teehee, "tit") and I don't think it's supposed to be. At least I hope not!

I'd suggest Yubisaki Milk Tea if you haven't already read it. It has a lot of "wow, I can't believe they went there" moments. Unfortunately, the story hasn't concluded yet and there's no sign of the next volume. Still, I don't regret reading it.

I remember Abenobashi as having an overwhelming amount of breasts, and it's only 2 volumes long.

You might also like Grenadier and the manhwa, Let's Be Perverts. If you don't mind something realistic looking, there's also Yukiko's Spinach.

Not to mention "wow, I can't believe Tokyopop didn't edit that."

I'll second this recommendation. It's a sexy, kinky, fetishy read, but with a lot of genuinely emotional moments too. And the art is very attractive (and frequently very erotic) IMO.

Sounds like it was made for me. And if the resident Sundome fanboy gives it his seal of approval, I'm in. First volume ordered.

I like the Abenobash anime so will probably check out the manga adaptation. And Let's Be Perverts is worthy of consideration by virtue of its title alone...

I second Welcome to the NHK, one of the best mangas around. I'd also recommend Ghost Talker's Daydream. The main character is a woman who sees ghosts, ('natch, the title) but she also works in the S&M/Dominatrix industry. Can be very dirty at times with nudity and sexual situations. The Mature tag is definitely warranted.
