Not the first time ADV and TRSI have done this kind of deal before, since I believe AN aired Ninja Nonsense at one point. But this is still great news for Aria, Maria, and Terra fans... Now if ADV announces that they've made a deal with Bandai for Terra TV then all the better.

Of course, all of this has no importance to me since I don't get AN... Only FUNimation Channel's linear service.

ADV and TRSI have indeed made deals before with Piano, To Heart, Ninja Nonsense, Boys Be, Boogiepop, Gravitation and other shows... what's interesting though in this case is, this is the first batch of new shows RightStuff appears to have broadcast rights to since To Heart.

I hope this means more RightStuf shows coming to Anime Network in the future.

Speaking for myself, since I watch through legitimate means, seeing series on TV format adds greater incentive for me to buy titles -- since my purchasing decisions are mostly based on Trailers, reviews, word of mouth... and in recent years what I see on TV/VOD.

Are you on Verizon? Call them up and request it. They may add it sooner than later with your request.

Ah, nice, hopefully this leads to more people experiencing Aria and Maria. Both of which I considere good. For the record, I have no opinion on Toward the Terra.

More exposure is always good, I suppose. But I already have the DVDs for both Aria and MariMite. When I'll get around to watching and/or finishing them is another matter. Then again, TV is more or less useless for me anyway.

I think that it is great that sub only shows are on TV. Keep up the good work ADV.

I think you're one of the only three people that gets the Funimation Channel and not Anime Network, especially their linear service. Though with the economy in the shape it's in, the situation with Best Buy, and problems at Navarre, I can't imagine their linear channel surviving the year. But then again, Fukunaga is stubborn, so who knows...

Regardless, it's great to see these shows on Anime Network. It's also great to see AN willing to show more sub only shows, especially Aria. Right Stuf has some really great shows, and it's great to see them getting more exposure.

BTW, if you haven't watched Aria yet, this is your chance. The series is really enjoyable, and I found myself completely hooked after the first episode. I've completely fallen in love with the world of Aqua.

Unfortunately, Comcast does not carry the SVOD service, so I won't see most of these in their entirety. I think us Comcast subscribers need to start a letter/email campaign and get them to add the SVOD service. They have other ones, like here! TV, so why not AN?

This is good because I always wanted to see Aria but didn't know if I wanted to dish out money for something I wasn't sure of.
