Personally, I think it makes a bit more sense to do this at the end of the month with what you've actually received during the month. I've got preorders in on lots of different things. Some were placed at least as far back as December.

I have yet to order anything in May, but there are things I'm considering in the future. Whether or not, I actually order them during May is another story.

Right now, I'm still waiting on the following. Lucky Star 1, S.S. Astro 1, and Sunshine Sketch 3.

I've done most of my buying for the month; I picked up the last volume of Burst Angel, vol.5 of Tetragrammaton Labyrinth and the 2 Kannazuki no Miko. I finally got around to getting some of the Blame! volumes, now that they're getting scarce.

All right then, today I've got my first manga of May. That manga would be Hayate X Blade Volume 2. It's just a theory, but I think owning the second volume gives me even more reason to get the first volume.

Stopped by Half Price books today and they had increased their manga selection incredibly. They still have three little bookshelves of manga over by the comics but now also have it stacked on top of the Sci-Fi section and it runs over a quarter of the length. And then I beat my manga budget into the ground.
Notable pick ups include Area 88 Vol 1, One Piece 5-10 and School Rumble 1-5.

Theory confirmed as I recently ordered the first volume of Hayate X Blade. Now it's just a matter of deciding what to get next.

For certain I still need to order Ichiroh Volume 1. Also I hope it doesn't take too long for Lucky Star 1 to get reserved for my order. That way Sunshine Sketch 3 and S.S. Astro 1 will ship along with it. I've been waiting awhile for those.

Just picked up Mahou Tsukai Kurohime Vol. 4, 5, 6. I wasn't to thrilled by this series other then the art, but since Vol. 4 it's really gotten interesting, to the point that it's now a must buy. Also picked up Foxy Lady Vol. 1 not realizing it's one of Tokyopop's dropped series.... Received Rose Hip Zero Vol. 2 from Rightstuf; cool series, gotta get the rest of the volumes soon, then start reading the sequel. That's it so far this month.

I got my Hitohira 2 & 3 order from TRSI last week.

I have no specific plans of buying anything else very soon. Are there any sites that cover new manga that's scheduled to be released in a given month? Similar to this site's anime DVD new release list?
