In Summary:
Xenosaga would make a good rental and I can see hardcore video game fans going for this but I would not recommend this for a casual anime viewer.
The series is paced well but the over winded explanations of the universe, lack of attachment to the characters and their situations makes the anime not very rewatchable.
Omari is a recent addition to our staff and would very much welcome any comments and criticism of how the review is written to help future reviews. Please make sure it's constructive!

Personally speaking I think anyone interested in Xenosaga is better off playing the games. Even with their flaws. Since after all, the anime is meh and it only covers the first game anyway. Oh, and one benefit to playing the third game is the outfit M.O.M.O. looks really good on her.

Well, this will not help me for watching it for sure...even if I'm a little curious.

I got this boxset during the BB 50% off sale for cheap. I'm not in a hurray to see it though. The grade though isn't exactly surprising.

This review was actually supposed to be done quite some time ago. It's just when I wrote my first draft I felt I wasn't doing justice in the way I was summarizing the series so I took it upon myself to rewatch the series (and in the midst of all this I managed to watch and cover Desert Punk in the span of two weeks) and go over all the details with a fine tooth comb.

My god did I want to stab myself in the head so badly doing this. Seriously, the series isn't horrible and not bad for a first watch but the second time around was just a trial in patience. I don't want to compromise my actual review so I'll just leave it at that.
