In Summary:
As it now appears that we are hitting the mid-point of the series as opposed to the conclusion like I had thought, my recent concerns about Shangri-La have been placated, at least temporarily. The build of the series makes a bit more sense now, and I look forward to seeing how it will all play out now that there is plenty of time for the pieces to fall into place. It has been a lot of fun so far, and I do not see any reason why it would not continue. Recommended.

Nice review, good episode.

Also, yeah, hopefully they'll be taking proper advantage of the second half of their runtime and avoid that pitfall You'd think that more shows would avoid it since it's been so common for so long but it still happens so often.

I have to admit, I was also worried about this show being only 12 episodes or so, but it's great to see that it's getting a lot more than that. I didn't think that 12 episodes was going to be enough to adequately cover everything Shangri-la was trying to do. This episode was a pretty good one, and the show is becoming more and more interesting with each episode with things appearing to come together bit by bit.
