Clannad dub?

So, I do wonder how recent this "news" is.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, which is why I came down here for some confirmation on what was actually going on.

Still, I'd kinda want a clearer picture on why this was talked about and in what detail...

Before people go all excited, Anime Insider Issue #64... that's way outdated, like October 08, I think. Whatever was said there about a dub or not probably has no bearing. (You may realize this already, I'm just saying this before tons of people raise their expectations and now suddenly expect a dub).

That info was probably based on the old John Ledford icv2 interview I'd imagine. Things have changed a great deal since then that precluded the dub. When they got the distribution rights to it they probably expected they could dub it, then the retail disaster happened...
