Any word on whether we're getting the box or not like the Japanese release?

There will have to be word on where they are selling it in R1, and I haven't even seen that anywhere yet.

The press releases said the release dates were for world wide sales, but so far I haven't heard of any retailer solicitations either. Given the date, I think the cutoff has already passed and something is screwy.

I don't think a box has been announced for this yet. Only thing I've heard of is the first pressing slip cover.

Well, it is an OVA.

I'm glad we're still getting at least some NA releases more on the premium side. I'm also glad to see the Honneamise logo on the posted cover art (from the R1 Covers Forum), since that imprint has some nostalgic value to me.

Given the choice of that, and the quality of Bandai Entertainment these days, I'd happily take Visual.

It's 1 episode actually, just an hour long.

True but Skywise's 2 eps gives a fair approximation of the length and puts it into a context where it is easier to compare with BV...and domestic stuff for that matter as well.
