I think that it is on the redundant side too. Maybe if they had an opt out option for those updates, it would have spared us this discussion.

I like it, especially with my long-term preorders especially when things get hectic, and it's not like it would take long to check off and delete them all in one go without even reading them in any e-mail program/online e-mail, I don't really understand the complaint at all IMO.

My copy shipped out yesterday it looks like, glad the wait's over.

Yeah, my copy shipped from Right Stuf yesterday. I wonder if they just had to wait until the official street date to ship their copies out. At least I know I'm getting it soon, but I'll definitely be waiting for the Bandai Store to have it for pre-order for the next one.
