I've heard good things about this series, and being able to see it for the first time on Blu-ray will be great.

I probably won't get it right away but I am interested since I liked the first episode I saw of it. I believe it should be in HD too because Nozomi mentioned they have HD masters for The Third, which is an Xebec series, and it's older than Heroic Age.

If that's the case, it will definitely double dip on this. I really enjoyed watching this series.

I don't want to get my hopes up, but damn that would be nice. It pays to wait sometimes...

I believe it was aired as an upscale, but that doesn't necessarily mean the masters are in SD.

Rephrased: was there a JP BD release? And if so, was it an upscale?

Related, what is the earliest confirmed HD XEBEC series?

It only got a DVD release in Japan, but then it started home video release back in mid 2007.

Chronoclast mentioned earlier in the thread that The Third had HD masters, and that was before Heroic Age.
