Episode 1:

- Ahahaha, Noto Mamiko as a Sadako lookalike who unintentionally scares the shit out of everyone who comes near her. Perfect.
- She reminds me of Inori from Hyakko...
- Sawako's ability to read people wrong is pretty awesome. "I wonder if they'll be disappointed if no ghosts show up..."
- I LOOOOVE HER.
- Oh good, she does have at least one friend. Even said friend calls her Sadako too.
- And Kazehaya has made an exceptionally good first impression. I like him.
- Even the students in her class are reasonably understanding once she's able to speak her mind. And it's the two girls that, from their designs, you'd expect to be the bitchiest. (One is Sawashiro Miyuki!) Jeeze, we've already deftly avoided so many of the same old annoying pitfalls. This show is going to be absolutely fanatstic.
- Ahahahah, happy Sawako surrounded by pink lights and flowers <3
- Kazehaya really is a cool guy.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck, that was one of the most impressive first episodes of the season. Probably second only to Railgun, and that one cheated by being awesome before it even started.

I already feel like these two could become one of my favorite couples ever.

Episode 2:

- Despite the amazing strides she made in one episode, her true nature obviously isn't known around the rest of the school yet.
- So glad she has friends in class other than Kazehaya though. He's great but she needs some female friends too.
- Oh jeeze Kazehaya is being ridiculously cute too. I like that when he finds out her "attraction" was respect, he doesn't get angry at all, he just chides himself for jumping to conclusions. And he's fretting adorably about what his relationship to Sawako is.
- She is SO. CUTE. with her hair up. How can anyone look at her and now see how incredibly pretty she is?
- She tries so darn hard, and I sense my body transforming into one big manifestation of moe feeling.
- Sheesh, you'd think her classmates learned something before summer break, but they're still immature little kids. =( And gah, so cruel, she can hear what you're saying. Bastards. ;_;
- OH GOD YES. Kazehaya, you're fantastic. Ayane, you're fantastic. Chizuru, you're fantastic. Ryuu... I don't know you yet but you've gotta be pretty cool too.
- Noto Mamiko is so happy! <3 <3 This show is going to make me cry every single episode, isn't it?
- And she recognizes the feeling of love this early. Awesome. It would have been easy to drag that out and have her completelty unrealistically not understand what she's really feeling - as many other shows like to do. But not here.
- Although it looks like there's another girl who already has those feelings and probably won't get along with Sawako just yet...

This is giving Railgun serious competition for best of the season. Absolutely fucking phenomenal in every single way.

I think they can both be the best show of the season. Since they share essentially no features in common.

Yeah I don't get the sense that he will be. I think he's just being played as the quiet guy who isn't fazed by anything - and never was scared of "Sadako". He may not be too popular himself, but it doesn't bother him, and so he likely didn't sit behind Sawako to make a statement, but simply because he didn't see anything wrong about doing so - and hey, it is a good seat, so why not?

I have a feeling I'm going to like him a lot.

I approve of this way of thinking. Although in my case, I'm not yet ready to give Railgun the highest slot anyway. That's even if I ignore the existence of Kimi ni Todoke.

Thirded - though for me Blacksmith is the main pretender to the throne, but this is just way too good. So much that I spotted the manga at J-Culturecon last week after only watching the first ep (after knowing squat about it) and got the first two volumes to squee at. Sawako is LOOOVVVEEEE...(and yes, pretty much all the cast friendly with her are awesome as well - utter love)

Ah, the power of positivity remains quite strong in the show.

I hope the actions of whoever is behind it hasn't caused any long term damage.

We'll see if the two are the type to fall for it or if they suspect something is up.

I strongly suspect, and really really hope, that they do the smart thing. Which is ask Sawako about it, and when she nearly faints at the mere thought, figure out who spread the rumor and kick her ass.
