Yeah, when it came to light that Ledford was the one who had registered J-Spec pictures, a few people suspected ADV would dubbing the movie. Add to that, that ADV has worked with Warner before on dubs, it's only natural that the they would use the same studio again.

And Stephen Foster does pretty well with projects like this, so I'm looking forward to it. I can't wait to see who they've cast in it.

Not quite. Seraphim is just providing the dub, its not being released by Sentai/ADV at all.

This really isn't "anime" as we generally define it, anyway. I doubt it'll get a Japanese release. The market for an OVA based on an Xbox exclusive game is probably not very large.
Well, Halo 1 and 2 have been ported to PC and it has merchandising with comic books, Action Figures, clothing items, tabletop games and novels so that market might be a bit larger than you think.
Sorry, I forgot the in Japan part.
Just in case anybody wants the full anime experience, DVD Times reports that Japanese is included among the languages and subtitles the DVD/Blu Ray will carry.

Now this is certainly interesting. Even though I'm not a Halo fan, I'm glad to hear that neo-ADV is getting work again. Certainly hope this leads to more work for the studio in the future. The pool of talent and experience down there (and yeah a lot of the old crew and actors are still in Houston) is too great to just leave to the sands of time.

I guess Warner must have been pleased with the work ADV did for them on Appleseed.

Oh, and yay for another Foster dub.

More than likely the subtitles will just be "dubtitles", just like Batman: Gotham Knight had.

Hardly an outside company, it's definitely "in the family" as it were.

I suspected this would happen back in August.
By outside company he means it's nice to see companies other then ADV/Neo-ADV/Sentai etc use their dubbing studio. In this case the outside studio is Warner Brothers and Microsoft. It seems Warner Brothers was happy enough with ADV's dub of Appleseed: Ex Machina , that they decided to use them again. Greenfield and the others has said in the past he wishes their studio to be used for more work like this. They would be open to dubbing video games, and seen as an option for other R1's to use to dub their stuff. I'm all for that personally.

Anyway this is great news. I cannot wait to check out the dub on this. Even though I was not very interested in this beforehand, the dub being done at Amusement Park Media has really perked up my ears. I may have to buy this anime just because of that fact. We need more dubs from that studio, we really do.

Exactly, Most of my favorite anime is produced by Amusement Park Media, (now called Seraphim). So, I 'm really excited on what the future holds for Seraphim.

You mean dubs right? They produced some of your favorite dubs? Amusement Park Media is a dubbing company (an ADR Studio), not an animation studio .
