It's that time again as we're catching up on what's come so far this year by taking a look at July 2009. Which of these titles do you think was the best of the best that month?

Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens Vol. #1 The release should be copied by all companies. Instant gratification.

Claymore Vol. #6 Hayate no Gotoku Part 1 Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens Vol. #1 Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Season 1 Part 1 (also w/Special Edition) World of Narue Complete Collection [a double-dip] Own previous/other release: Eureka Seven Complete Collection 2 (Anime Legends) Grave of the Fireflies Gungrave Complete Series Box Set Now and Then, Here and There Complete Collection Rozen Maiden Traumend Box Set Strawberry Panic Complete Collection LiteBox Twelve Kingdoms Complete TV Series This is a bit tougher, but as much as I like Kannagi it's Gundam 00 that I ranked above it that season.

Gundam 00, though Bleach boxset 3 came close. I gave the edge to 00 because of the manga volumes, and even though the best parts come in Part 2 and especially 3, 1 is a great build-up to it.

Kannagi got my vote, due to the 'surprise' announcement and speedy release. And a quality show at that, along with free tshirts. Nicely handled release, and the most fun/excitement I've gotten out of a release in some time.
