[Manga] Peacemaker Kurogane Vol. #01
Review by Chris Nadolski
Mania Grade: C
Quote:
In Summary:
Billed as an "action/drama", Peace Maker Kurogane Vol. #01 is short on action and actually seems more farcical than dramatic. Being a sequel, it would be nice if there were a little more explanation for the uninitiated as to the lore behind the title "Peace Maker", though it is hinted to be quite badass. Many character story-lines developing at once can be an interesting format, but in this case it feels fractured if not a tad shallow. Then too, subsequent books may prove that things can be tied together convincingly, but that remains to be seen and this first volume may unfortunately drown out readers interest with its barrage of themes before the series has a chance to prove itself more substantially in upcoming volumes.
