So, I really wanted to write my review like this:

Stuff I loved about this book:

• Everything fat cat Elizabeth
• The post-coital futon caterpillar
• The panel right after the blow dryer
• The totally evil classroom sex scene (poor Atsu!)
• Atsu imaging the old man who taught Junya his technique
• Atsu adding two more men to the list of people who taught Junya his technique
• Junya's blushing face
• Junya's ridiculous declarations
• The dog in the park
• Junya being jealous of the dog in the park
• Uh, the whole damned first chapter
• The first date
• The "GROOOW" arrow
• The handful of kittens
• Really, any time an animal shows up in the panel
• Everything about Junya until the stuff I hated
• "Something a drunk person would say"
• "IT'S PRETTY NORMAL."
• The super sexy spash pages
• All the hilarious background asides
• ..ok really, I could go on all like this all day.

Stuff I hated:

• Junya knowingly drinking the 96-proof alcohol instead of just dumping it out
• Junya raping Atsu in stupid drunken stupor because he thinks Atsu doesn't love him enough (uh, hello? Aquarium scene??)

Oh, if only those 40 pages weren't there! This book is a total riot otherwise. My biggest mistake in reading this book was reading in the library, because I could NOT stop cracking up at completely inappropriate times. Seriously? This book doesn't do anything new, but it's so cute and so damned hysterical I really don't care. And ears and tails abound!

I appreciate that the title in Japanese this is Wanko to Nyanko. There's no way to literally translate it, but I'd be tempted to go with

Woof Woof X Meow Meow

I totally agree regarding the end of the book. It took away some of the enjoyment for an otherwise fun read.
