HOLY MOLY... those are some seriously low prices, 60% off for most and even more some dvds. I noticed that Amazon seems to have lowered their prices to fairly competitive levels. Factor in tax and s&h costs w/ Best Buy, and Amazon is definitely a good alternative.
I was about to post about that. I think I will go the Amazon route myself. It is slightly more expensive than BB B&M but I have some gift certificates that I can use.

Amazon seems to have many more titles marked down than does Best Buy, most of the Geneon stuff which is now getting distributed by Funi in particular. For instance, Familiar of Zero (Viridian collection) is going for $16, the Shana set was $28, etc...

Also, Amazon seems to be discounting more of the 'A-list' titles than BB. For instance, some of the Soul Eater sets are marked way down.

Crud, they would go do this right after I order some stuff at BB and get hit for shipping and tax. -_-

Same, the GCs are the primary reason for me hopping to Amazon for most of the items I am interested in.

I went ahead and picked up Dragon Box 3 and Black Lagoon. Blind bought Spice and Wolf, which seemed like something I'd enjoyed.

Couldn't resist those prices. Put in an order for Claymore, Spice & Wolf and Black Lagoon.
Went back and bought Baccano. Hopefully, this is the last thing I have interest in.

Checked Amazon as well, and just had to put in an order for Samurai Champloo. I've never seen it that low in price before.

I know my store has them in place, mostly where they should be, but I've been to others that don't.
I didn't know BB used Mosaic reps. (Out of curiosity) So do they put out the sales price signs too?
They're suppose to, though some are better than others. The quality of Mosaic's work can vary greatly. They also help with the larger sendbacks our stores have to do as well, though often they don't come until later in the morning, so they are often done by then.

Also, I thought I should just point out to everyone that Best Buy has started to cycle through sku numbers again. Our new inventory and ordering systems are allowing us to start over and use older sku numbers that were not used in the past, so you will start seeing a lot of DVDs with skus that start with 1. In the past, this was usually a quick way to figure out which titles were available in store, and which ones weren't.

Now, you will have to check the in-store pickup, or count the amount of numbers in the sku. 8 digit skus will be online only, while 7 digit skus will be available in some stores. I noticed this when checking on the first Golgo 13 collection.

Thanks for the heads-up. I thought that's what happened with the SKU. Golgo 13 would make sense since it also have the security label/sticker that's on top (at least it comes to the Sentai releases).
