Stopped by Best Buy today and was able to get a price match for Ghost in the Shell 2.0 (rang up as 16.99 originally).

I forgot to mention about the IGPX release from a couple weeks back. The My-Otome Vol.1 release should be fairly recent. Both of which are not that much of a deal anyways.

The Code Geass release should be hard to find now. The rest should be much easier to find. It's also interesting to note that the SKUs / UPCs are the same for respective anime label (Anime: Spec Ed Value and Anime Treasure Bin).

If there is one, it would be posted here. With how much anime is gutted in-stores, I wouldn't expect to many anime sales from here on. We may get some online only sales here and there.

The new store prototype they are piloting in Pittsburgh and Las Vegas has almost no anime selection at all. It's primarily the big titles like Bleach and DBZ and the occasional oddball title. Most of the anime series on bluray are also left out. The majority of the stores only have 2 or 3 shelves of titles now.

The part that really bothered me is that three of the top anime stores in the chain were in those markets and even they had their selections drastically cut back. These stores use to carry virtually every title that Best Buy offered in store and now they have almost nothing.

As the remodels continue and the new store format rolls out nationwide, most, if not all stores should have their anime selections drastically cut back. So far those titles have just been getting pulled and shipped back, so I doubt there will be any future sales like the one they had last year. There will just be the occasional new release on sale or Reward Zone coupon.

Do you mean top anime stores in the in-stock sense, or in terms of sales?
