The Top Cow comic, Aphrodite IX, will get a new printing and a brand new cover to go with it.

The Press Release:

Long out of print trade paperback, Aphrodite IX returns with a brand all-new painted cover by original series artist David Finch (Moon Knight, New Avengers).

Aphrodite IX Trade Paperback collects issues #1-4 of the series of the same name as well as the hard to find issue #0 plus incredible bonus art by Marc Silvestri (Civil War: The Initiative, Hunter-Killer), Joe Benitez (Supergirl), and Michael Turner (Superman/Batman, Ultimate Wolverine). Aphrodite IX is the perfect weapon, only she doesn’t know it. She’s programmed to kill and then erases all memory of her mission and her former life, like a reset button was hit in her mind. Now the ideal assassin wants to know who programmed her and she won’t stop until she finds out!

Highlighting this new printing of the trade collection is a brand new painted cover by original series artist Finch, and featuring a pulse pounding story by David Wohl (co-creator of The Darkness, Witchblade). This trade totals 144 pages and carries a suggested retail price of $14.99. As an added bonus, Top Cow has made available a 16 page preview from the trade for new and dedicated fans alike to enjoy. The new printing is expected in stores at the end of February.

“Top Cow is committed to keeping our backlist in print and Aphrodite IX is a key property for us”, said Filip Sablik, Vice President of Marketing & Sales, “We’re incredibly excited about the gorgeous new cover David Finch painted and to have this great material available once again”.
