APOLLO 13 gets re-release on IMAX

Universal Pictures is having APOLLO 13 go where THE MATRIX, JURASSIC PARK 3 and GLADIATOR have gone before, and that's IMAX theaters across America.

But unlike those releases, which just projected those films in their 35mm formats on the giant IMAX screens, this summer's APOLLO 13 will be released after being transformed via a new process into the 70mm IMAX format. The new print should have resolution closer to the ultra-clear IMAX format, unlike the 35mm IMAX showings of THE MATRIX and JURRASIC PARK 3.
